About Us

Our Mission

We support people impacted by poverty, incarceration, economic hardship, and social displacement — and help them build a path forward through dignified work, creativity, and learning.

Our Statement of Purpose

The Antelope Foundation is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, and philanthropic purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The corporation's purpose is to support individuals and communities impacted by poverty, incarceration, economic hardship, and social displacement through workforce development, artistic and cultural programming, educational initiatives, community-based support services, and grantmaking activities. The corporation may provide training, mentorship, creative opportunities, financial assistance, and micro-grants in furtherance of its charitable mission.

What we do

Five connected areas of charitable activity.

Workforce Development

Paid, dignified work and hands-on training that build transferable skills.

Artistic & Cultural Programming

Creative opportunity as a route to focus, confidence, and purpose.

Educational Initiatives

Mentorship and learning that widen long-term opportunity.

Community-Based Support Services

Meeting people where they are, alongside shelters and reentry programs.

Grantmaking

Micro-grants and grants that reinvest in people and partner organizations.

How we help

Our means are practical and people-first. We tie every program to real outcomes — most directly through The Beading Project, which employs women in transition at a dignified wage.

Training

Practical, hands-on skill-building.

Mentorship

Guidance from people invested in each person’s progress.

Creative opportunities

Craft and art that restore confidence and agency.

Financial assistance & micro-grants

Direct support that removes barriers to stability.
